"Your guidance and support mean everything to me. Thank you for helping me sort through my mess and find some calm in the storm and a way forward." -Lisa
We rebuilt Lisa's studio space from the inside out, patching, priming, painting, and installing custom-cut shelves made from a salvaged German armoire. The goal wasn't just storage; it was flow. With a clean, durable system in place, she can stage, catalog, and distribute her artwork without the overwhelm. We set clear milestones: a lightweight catalog now and a holiday sale for letting go. This is Steadwell's approach—hands-on craft plus transition support.
Problem—Overpacked closet; outdated system; no flow. Emotional weight around hundreds of pieces.
Action—Empty → patch/prime/paint → custom carpentry (shelves + mounts cut from a salvaged German armoire) → install → milestone plan for catalog + holiday sale.
Outcome—Stable, clean storage; clear staging flow; with distribution plan underway.
Before: Supplies and canvases packed into a closet with no zones—hard to find, hard to work, rising stress.
Before: Studio space crammed with canvases and framing supplies.
The closet was emptied and the studio was staged while we mapped simple ways to unload artwork (catalog now, easy channels next).
Shelves and mounting pieces custom-cut from a salvaged German armoire to maximize vertical capacity and durability.
Closet after: labeled zones for sketch pads, work in progress, and blank canvases; brush caddy and rolling drawer cart organized beneath.
Studio after: clean work wall with organized paint tubes and shelf display; sofa and easel staged for calm, usable space. Paints and tools visible, desk and seating clear—the room supports creating while the simple sell-and-share plan runs in the background.
